North Tampa - Lutz Cadet Squadron

Awards

19th Aerospace Education Excellence Award

North Tampa-Lutz Cadet Squadron is proud to accept the 19th Aerospace Education Excellence Award for our Squadron on the 26th May 2015 presented by Lieutenant Colonel Phillip Zedonek (Government Relations Advisor of Florida Wing.)  Our Squadron has participated in The Aerospace Education Excellence Award Program (AEX) since the inception by Doctor Ben Millspaugh.  When you’re built creation actually flies, all part function simultaneously, and the challenge is in motion the excitement is felt when victory has been accomplished. The experience is enjoyed by the Cadets and Seniors.  The Squadrons that did not participate in the Aerospace Education Excellence Award Program have missed an opportunity of a lifetime to educate and experience the history and creation of time and space. We are proud to announce we are the only Squadron in Florida to have all nineteen (19) Aerospace Education Excellence Awards.

Major Dalton has been a member who has given much time and undivided attention to helping North Tampa-Lutz Cadet Squadron continue to grow, to be one of the best squadron's. He has always completed his task, then ask is there any thing else to do? This senior has the respect of all the cadets and senior's as a leader but also as a friend. We wish Him to have a relaxing retirement and enjoy myself. Thank you for all your help over the many years.

Florida Wing Parents Support Award 2010 to Lili Fox

As the parent of a CAP Cadet, Lili Fox goes above and beyond what most parents contribute to CAP. Lili stepped up almost two years ago now to be the Group 3 Wreaths Across America project officer and serves as the primary coordinator for the Bay Pines Cemetery. In this role, Lili pulls together not only CAP, but also the Boy Scouts, and numerous veteran and veteran support organizations and works with the cemetery to plan and coordinate the annual wreath laying ceremony for Bay Pines.
She serves with a smile on her face and has worked hard to encage numerous organizations to support WAA. Her efforts are evident on the year over year growth of this event. This year, we were able to double the number of wreaths from what was laid last year.
It was my pleasure and honor at the conclusion of this years ceremony to be able to present Lili Fox with the Florida Wing Parents Support Award in recognition for her hard work and dedication. The appreciation of her work by everyone present was evident in the applause and numerous congratulations she received.
Lily, Thank you on behalf of CAP, and all the organizations you work with in support of Wreaths Across America. WE APPRECIATE YOU!
